At Six Rivers Wellness, we pride ourselves on being a practice that welcomes and embraces diversity. Our team is comprised of individuals from various backgrounds, catering to the needs of a diverse clientele. We specialize in providing therapy for individuals, couples, families and groups, offering support for a wide range of mental health conditions..

We firmly believe that relationships are at the heart of mental wellness. These connections are vital to our wellbeing as they provide us with support, understanding, and a sense of belonging. Relationships offer a space for us to share our thoughts, emotions, and experiences, reducing feelings of isolation and loneliness. They also offer opportunities for personal growth, as we learn from one another's perspectives and engage in meaningful connections. Building and nurturing relationships not only enhances our sense of happiness and fulfillment, but also contributes to improved self-image, resilience, and overall mental health.

We employ evidence-based approaches such as emotionally focused therapy. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is widely recognized as the APA's "gold standard" for couples therapy, as it focuses on fostering emotional connection and creating secure attachments within relationships, ultimately leading to long-lasting positive changes. Additionally, we employ modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which aids in treating trauma-related disorders. We incorporate attachment theory, trauma-informed care, and parts work to provide a holistic approach that addresses the root causes of mental health struggles. Our therapists are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for our clients, empowering them to heal, grow, and thrive.

We invite you to take another step in your journey of wellness, reach out to us and find that great fitting therapist.
